Read the grade. Then check the evidence.
Understand virgin and reclaimed product labeling, why mixed material is separate, and which product and lot records to check before ordering.
Grade is part of the product identity
ChillerGas lists virgin and reclaimed stock as separate variants. Your quote and order record the selected grade. Reclaimed refrigerant is processed and verified against the applicable purity specification before resale for use; merely recovering refrigerant from equipment does not make it reclaimed.
Product documents and lot documents serve different purposes
The safety data sheet describes the supplied product and its handling information. A certificate of analysis relates to a tested lot. Check that the product designation and lot references match the material you receive. Ask the team about any missing document before accepting the supply for your job.
Mixed stock is a separate workflow
Different refrigerants mixed together and awaiting separation or reclamation are held material, not an alternative retail grade. They do not appear as finished refrigerant in this catalog. Contact Chiller Services separately for assessment of recovered or mixed material.
Choose against the equipment and destination requirements
Have the responsible technician confirm the exact refrigerant and applicable requirements for the equipment. Grade, source, intended use and destination can affect whether a sale may proceed. ChillerGas reviews the account and product before checkout approval; a product name alone is not permission to substitute it into a system.
