Compare the fill, the container and the total.
How to compare refrigerant net pounds, cylinder quantities, per-pound pricing, deposits, exchanges and customer-owned fill requests.
Net pounds describe the refrigerant
The catalog's weight is the net refrigerant fill for that variant. It is not the empty cylinder's tare weight, the gross shipping weight or a statement of the container's rated capacity. Match the order to the net quantity required, then confirm the container and transport arrangement.
Read the cylinder arrangement
Outright means the buyer keeps the supplied cylinder. A deposit arrangement records a separate amount against a returnable cylinder. An exchange requires an acceptable empty cylinder. A customer-owned fill requires inspection and a reviewed final fill weight before a saleable quantity is confirmed.
Availability of each arrangement depends on the product. Do not assume that two products with the same net weight have the same container policy. An exchange or a deposit return needs an accepted inspection record before staff complete the corresponding release or refund.
Build the complete order cost
Compare merchandise on the same net-pound basis, then add any cylinder deposit, freight and applicable tax. Quantity breaks and private company prices may change the merchandise total. Checkout provides a reviewed total rather than assuming the visible unit price is the final delivered cost.
